My son and I

information supplied was accurate and up to date. We were
really made to feel at home. We arrived as clients, but feel
we left as friends and part of a family. There were no

you said it would be as I'm too old for surprises. You

Dear Fred-
Roy and I just got back from the hunt you arranged for us in
Namibia with Johnny. This was our second trip with Johnny
and again, it was a great one. He is a wonderful guy to hunt
with and he always takes us to excellent areas with plenty
of game. His hunting skills are beyond compare and, as you
know, he is the focal point of entertainment around the camp
fire which makes for very enjoyable evenings.
Johnny always seems to be able to get us on to some great
trophies. You may remember that in ' 99 Roy killed a buffalo
that scored 129 5/8 points which placed it at # 11 in the
book. It now sits at # 15. Last week Johnny got me into a
good bunch of Kalahari springbok and I was able to kill a
ram that scored 47 5/8 points which would currently place it
at # 6.
Records aside, the enjoyment of the hunt is what counts.
Every part of the hunt from the PH, to the areas, to the
accommodations, to the food, has been top shelf. We sure
appreciate the work that you put in on your end and Johnny
puts in on his end to get us a quality hunt that will always
be remembered. My thanks to you and be sure to call us if
you get out to hunt elk in our area.

I have been reflecting
on the quality of my first African Safari a few months back
and an compelled to write this letter of thanks for the
wonderful advice and counsel you gave me for that hunt.
In retrospect, on
every single issue, you were exactly correct and that made
all the difference in the level of enjoyment of the entire
experience, not just the hunting.
In every instance, I
followed your advice. The two days of acclimation and
sightseeing in Capetown with a driver/guide were
outstanding! The choices of the P. H., rifle caliber and
loads, the most desirable animals to hunt, the lodges,
permitting the guns and even the tipping of staff and P. H.
were invaluable and exactly on target.
All of the above
issues and others too small and numerous to list here made a
first time trip to Africa an extremely enjoyable and
comfortable one for my wife, sister and myself. I will
highly recommend you to anyone going there and rest assured
that when ( not if ) I go again, you'll be in charge of
planning and booking.

wanted to thank you for setting up my last two
safaris----they went very well! Accommodations and food
were what we expected, the professional hunters were
excellent and hunting was excellent and most importantly,
everything went smoothly.. As you know, my first two hunts
with other booking agents were not so good.

arranged!

Hello Fred!
I hope this finds you
and finds you well. In regards to my hunt: firstly, I
cannot say enough about the people and the facilities that
supported my visit. Your outfitter and his staff can only
pay dividends over and over. As soon as we arrived, everyone
was the most accommodating. To have someone respond
"it's a pleasure" was so refreshing.
Our stay was at the
very least five star. huge bedrooms, daily laundry service,
first class meals, and a well trained staff! In
regards to my hunt I can only say it was exceptional. Your
professional hunter thoroughly understood and implemented a tailor-made
hunt. All my animals were taken by stalk on foot and were
older trophies. even though the bush was thick, thorny, and
unyielding He put me in a position to shoot every
time. With the exception of one animal all were down with
one shot. This coming from a first timer to Africa and one
who has only pig hunted in the states.
I can without
hesitation say that it was the hunt of a lifetime and I look
forward to returning soon. Thanks also to you Fred for your
patience and guidance. I was the only one on the return
flight with pictures in hand.

What can I say, other than "Thanks a million!". Ten days in
RSA, two different hunting camps, 14 trophy animals,
and thirteen species! Unbelievable! I still can't decide which
trophy I like the best, the 17" blesbok, 26" impala,
38" eland, 54" kudu, not to mention a 16" bushbuck and how
about the bush pig and caracal! As you know, this trip of a
lifetime was more like a disaster averted after a bad
booking experience with Cabelas. Thanks to you, this was
truly the hunt of a lifetime. The best compliment I can
pay you is by saying that I had NO SURPRISES! From airport
and customs to camps and trophies, every detail was taken
care of. Thanks again, and I look forward to booking
another safari in 2004 for Tanzania!
